St. Stephen Basilica
The largest church of Budapest (can hold 8500 people) was built from the beginning of the years of 1800 and the construction lasted about 60 years. Two artistic eras had influence on the construction of the Basilica: the classicism and the eclectics. Inside the church, many works recall St. Stephen, the founder of State and Church in Hungary. The dome of the church offers a unique 360 scale round panorama from a height of 65 metres. Elevators ensure the way upstairs, only a few steps have to be walked at the end.
