The church is characterised by its pleasant proportions (that can be best embraced from the bank of Rába-river) and fine facade. It was built between 1783 and 1785, in a closed courtyard and without tower. The most remarkable ornament of the internal choired, chamber-type church is the late baroque pulpit-altar, including the painting of Soma Orlai Petrich. Another treasure of the church is the baptistery, standing in front of the altar, which was carved out of red sand-stone in 1817. On its bell-shaped cover there is a small group of cast statues showing the baptism of Jesus.
