Károly watch tower

The watch tower of the city, built between 1962-63, stands on the hill Avas. From there you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the city. The tower is 73 meters high and was designed by Miklós Hofer.

Sörházdomb lookout

Sörházdomb is one of the mountain ranges of the Sopron Mountains, its height is 300 m. At the site of a lookout tower degraded in the second world war a new wooden tower can be found from 2006.

You can easily reach the lookout tower from Lővér ring, as well as from the Sörházdombi street by following the information boards. The panorama of the city and the Löverek is excellent.

Várhely lookout

The 483 m high Várhely lookout with its imposing tower resembles a kind of double helix, because its two staircases wind their way around themselves.
