Duna Arena is much more than a competition pool, by this development the greatest aquatics centre of Hungary will be established providing sporting and entertainment facilities for thousands of people after the Championships, also. The facility will serve as a training pool for kids and will function as headquarters for training for the national swimming and water polo community. In addition, the facility will host dozens of national and international events.
It is important to note that constructions have been delivered in line with environmentally conscious and sustainable considerations, the majority temporary elements will be used at other venues after the event.
The fundamental purpose when designing the facility was to ensure that the facility in legacy mode would meet the requirements of the Hungarian Swimming, Water Polo, Synchronised Swimming and Diving Federations.
