The “Vadaskert” village inn was built at 1968 in the former wild park of earl George Festetics. It is half way between Keszthely and Hévíz edge of the forest in a green, pleasant atmosphere.

Our village inn offers rich assortment of game meat-specialties: deer, roe-deer, wild-hog, quail, pheasant, wild-goose, wild-duck etc. Apart from the venison our guests will be delighted with a great number of other specialties as well.

We make the dishes after the traditional Hungarian kitchen-technology from naturally, home-made materials. We offer also for vegetarians plenty of choice.

We wait our guests all every day from 11 am, till 22 pm, with life gipsy music. The newly completed small zoo and a playground next to the restaurant offer a pleasant pastime for our guests and for children.

Upon previous reservation we can organize folklore programs with dinner and wine tasting for travel agencies and tourist groups. We also undertake roasting of whole piglets and lambs.

The capacities of the restaurant are 160 places and further 160 places on the terrace. There is an extra room too, where we can accept smaller groups and programs as well.
