Poetic Perch

Poetic Perch

Badacsony

Pretend you’re a poet, sit on the porch and be inspired by the lake, or even dance in the garden at one of the parties hosted by the Szegedy Róza House in Badacsonytomaj, a peasant baroque-style summer home, winemaking museum and poetry display all in one. It was built in the 18th century by Róza and hubby Sándor Kisfaludy, who pours out his love for Róza and Balaton in his poetry. It’s a bit of a hike. Lazy? Take a jeep ride up to this poetic perch.
