The Municipal Museum, which was the villa of the former administrator of the bathhouse, presents the history of Balatonfüred in the golden age by bringing four topics to the front: transportation, thermal bath, Anna Balls and the theatre. The Collection of the Local History and its rich library can be seen in the building of the museum and it is the Guest Center from where thematic walks start. The organised trips show guests round the reform era quarter and evoke interesting stories connected to the residents and buildings of Balatonfüred. In the course of the thematic trips organized guests can among others inspect the statues of István Széchenyi and Sándor Kisfaludy, the Pantheon of Balatonfüred, can taste the world famous sour water by walking along the grounds of the Nobel Prize winners, can take a rest in The Garden of Roses after wandering through the Indian grove. After inspecting life on the pier guests can visit the Jókai Villa, the Jókai obelisk and the Vaszary Villa. The walk lead by a tour-guide starts from the Municipal Museum.
