The South Balaton Wine Region is one of the loveliest landscapes of Pannonia.
As for the RED WINES, this region is more adapted to produce Burgundy type fruity red wines with rich aroma. Red grape varieties grown here are: Gamay, Pinor Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. The pleasant acids and fragrances are also typical of our red wines, bitterness and body are less typical.
Among the historical wine regions of Hungary this wine region takes the fifth place with its size, but the rank is more advanced if you regard the number of bottles sold or the turnover. The quality of our white wines and sparkling wines has convinced the experienced consumers due to the up-to date and always renewing wine-making technologies and wins new expert fans from the younger generations. Our wines reflect the Balaton sunshine and radiate the delight of Pannonia on the families' tables.
