Museum of Medical History at the Pécs University of Sciences

The Museum of Medical History is hosted in the building of the Faculty of Medicine, Pécs University of Sciences. This special collection does not match reputable international museums but it is unique in Hungary. Most of the 143 objects come from the turn of the century and the 1920s. You will find laboratory watches, measurement devices, microscopes from different ages, and the first blood cell meter.
The collection was declared to be protected in 1994 by the Semmelweis Museum of Medical History. Admission is free during working hours.
