Kuny Domokos Museum is located in the building of the castle since 1954. The basis of the collection came from the Piarists' collection. The museum was founded by Béla Dornyay. Tata and it's outskirts history from the Roman age to the 19th century is presented in 13 rooms. There are also two rooms for temporary exhibitions.
